Designed by Kathryn Lager Design Studio, in 2018, it received the Hospitality Design award for Best Casual Restaurant Design in the world. An oyster bar serving local, seasonal cuisine and bespoke beverage, Henrietta Red was co-conceptualized and founded by Allie Balin, the former Co-owner, General Manager & Sommelier. Henrietta Red quickly garnered national acclaim as one of 50 finalists on Bon Appetit’s list of best new restaurants, a semi-finalist on the James Beard list of best new restaurants, and one of the five best new restaurants in America on GQ’s 2018 list.
